CIUDAD VALDELUZ

2009-2010

Ciudad Valdeluz near Madrid was planned on a drawing board during the Spanish construction boom as an exemplary modern satellite town, designed for 30,000 commuters. After the economic crisis it had now become a ghost town - only about 500 people followed the advertised promises of real estate companies. These companies then gradually lost interest in further development, leaving the remaining construction projects unfinished.
